CTS-1008plus is a portable ultrasonic flaw detector that successfully makes a perfect combination of the advanced performance of normal pulse echo (PE) testing and TOFD imaging testing technology.

 

Its normal PE testing function supports the universal pulse-reflecting ultrasonic flaw detection.It has excellent performance, various powerful and useful functions. Besides, it supports various testing standards and application.

 

TOFD imaging technology refers to works using Time of Flight Diffraction technology and our composite material crystal transducer which effectively discover the defect easily and correctly. Meanwhile, CTS-1008Plus can be connected with many kinds of scanning devices(SCQcscan-1SCQtofd-1SCQtofd-2)and support B, C, D imaging modes.

 

It is only 1.4kg which makes it the lightest TOFD tester in China and completely meets your requirements on mobile testing and working under special testing circumstances. 。

  • TOFD imaging technology (More details please refer to the technical specifications).
  • Support TOFD recheck after normal PE testing, accurately measure the size and profile of defects, evaluate the characteristics and direction of defects. Support PE rechecks after TOFD imaging.
  • Sampling frequency up to 640MHz, 0.1mm measurement resolution, minimum display range is 2mm.
  • Frequency 0.5 ~ 20MHz, sensitivity up to 62dB, low frequency provides better signal-to-noise rate.
  • Bright, excellent resolution color TFT LCD to optimize the test result.
  • High performance square wave pulser with tuning option allows the operator to tune the pulse width of the square wave pulser to optimize transducer performance. This maximizes signal-to-noise and penetration in difficult materials such as highly-attenuated materials or thin work-pieces. +ve or –ve square wave or –ve square wave plus –ve spike pulse options.
  • Small size, lightweight, use Li-battery with more than 6 hours’ battery life.
  • LAN interface for data transfer and remote control.
  • Two-dimensional incremental encoder interface realizes accurate position-detecting imaging (B-scan, C-scan, D-scan).
  • Synchronous analogue RF waveform output with impedance 50 Ohm make it a good signal source of data collection and transducer test.
  • High-speed USB interface allows data storage on USB drive and PC communication. To interface with a mouse to secure accurate analysis on image.
  • Internal charger, auto switch between “charge” and “work”. Power supplied by battery or AC mains. The operating time of onboard Li battery is more than 6 hours.
  • Multi-software functions to meet all inspection needs, unique keypad organization and rotary knob operation make the inspection much easier. It has a user-friendly design for menu, English/Chinese language menu options and English/Chinese input options.
  • Automatically test the transducer frequency, tune the pulse width of square wave pulse to optimize transducer performance.
  • Thickness alarm function, continuous storage function of waveform and various measurement modes of waveforms.
  • Automatically calibrate instrument specifications and search the peak value.
